FOR SALE 716 P93 HARD TOP

This is an ex MOD 716 which I have the complete military history for.

It was kept in undercover storage for quite a while by the MOD with no use. It was modified by Automotive Technique who were the Pinzgauer UK importers. It was one of 6 Pinzgauer's that were converted to hard top for the military for a CBRN (Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence) Role.
Four of these vehicles were decommissioned so I have been told by ATL guys with the hard tops being removed. Which leaves only 2 of these rare vehicles. This is one and the other one is in Africa.

This also included an upgrade to both the front and rear suspension.

Also these have a specially designed for the MOD a heavy duty roof rack which can be removed.

This vehicle is offered with a Superwinch, 6 Spotlights, Synthetic winch rope, Mantec Bridging ladders fitted to the side along with heavy duty mounting brackets. This vehicle is also fitted with the Rare 7in wheel rims with new Micky Thompson 315/75/16 Extreme Mud Tyres.

It is fitted with 2 rear jerry can holders along with jerry cans, 2 New Batteries, Eberspacher 24volt heater unit.

Has a modified front end roll bar along with both front and rear light grills, and twin rear work lamps.

New timing and injector pump belts have recently been fitted along with new water pump.

The vehicle will be painted in the Dark Earth colour both inside and out.

The price is £25,000 for what is a are hard top model intercooler Pinzgauer and will be ready for delivery around Feb 2016.

Here is the vehicle I am in the middle of painting her which will be in Dark Earth colour. I will post a picture of the colour in the next couple of days

The new colour scene is very much like the new British Army dark brown (might even be the same) This 716 was also painted in light stone and was a vehicle used out in Afghanistan.

I know that the original Pinzgauer green colour is Ral 6031 but the dark earth is a cross between a military desert colour and will be better for civilian use outside of Europe.

Where do you find a rare 716 P93 like this ?

Yes, FDE is a very nice color for a "civilian" Pinz, but I also like the original LSG!

I really don´t know why, but in Stan, Lebanon and so on, the Austrian Forces used vehicles in "green" (RAL 7013 and IRR 285).
In Chad our SOF-comrades had the "Sandviper" with colors like (US-) Desert Tan (FS 33446) or Sand (FS 33531) plus stripes in dark brown (like RAL 8027-F9 or 8031-F9).
I´m not sure, but I think, I have seen an AAF San-Pinz (maybe 718 AMB?) in Desert Tan too...

I Googled NATO green and this is a list that came up which shows quite a few variations, and I'm sure there are more. Every time I look at military vehicles the colours can be quite different

Yes, there isn´t only one NATO-green.
Different colours and different specifications (IRR, temperature-resistance, a.s.o.).
